Dare to Lead
What will it take for organizations and leaders to succeed in this rapidly changing, complex, modern world of work? One answer saturated across the research of Dr. Brené Brown – we need braver leaders and more courageous cultures. Brave leaders who focus on learning over being right and having all the answers. And courageous cultures where failures and setbacks are normalized and seen as part of innovation and growth.
In this LEAP event, we will touch on the four teachable, measurable, observable skill sets of courageous leadership from the book “Dare to Lead.” Then we will dig into one of the most critical behaviors from the research – the ability to have tough conversations.
About The Speaker:
Lori Harris is a Certified Dare to LeadTM Facilitator who was personally trained by Dr. Brené Brown in 2019. Lori has been developing braver leaders and courageous teams for over 25 years as a business leader in growth companies including NIKE, Inc. and Macy’s. As the founder and President of Trademark Leadership, Lori provides training, coaching and teambuilding experiences to help leaders and teams unleash their potential. She combines her leadership experience with training in group facilitation, assessments, coaching and human behavior consulting.
