Want to Host a LEAP Pop-Up Event

LEAP Pop-Ups are member-led gatherings designed to bring women together between our main events. These gatherings can be small and simple or bold and beautiful. They may take the form of a dinner, a walk, a circle, a retreat, or a workshop. What matters most is that they reflect the spirit of LEAP. Women leading with courage. Community rooted in care. Growth that includes the whole self.

Some members may already be hosting leadership development retreats, speaking at conferences, or building community spaces. If you want to invite LEAP members into something you are creating or participating in, a Pop-Up is the perfect way to extend that space and multiply the impact.

Whether you are offering rest, reflection, connection, or strategy, Pop-Ups give women in LEAP a chance to gather with purpose and share what they are learning and building.

The Heart of Every Event

LEAP Pop-Ups are grounded in the same three pillars that shape our entire community. If your event touches even one of these, you are likely on the right track.

Connection

Meet like-minded women who are also leading change. Build trust, share truth, and create space where honesty and joy can live side by side. This is not about networking. This is about building relationships that matter.

Personal Growth

Join a circle of ambitious women who are breaking barriers, healing from burnout, challenging norms, and rising together. Pop-Ups can help us process, rest, and grow into the leaders we are becoming.

Professional Development

Support and be supported by other women who are serious about their work and their lives. Share resources, skills, and tools that help women across industries thrive. This is about building each other up, not just getting ahead.

Pop-Up Requirements

To be recognized as a LEAP Pop-Up, your gathering must meet at least three of the five criteria below. If it does, you are invited to register your event so we can help you connect with the wider community.

  1. It supports women’s leadership, well-being, or growth
Your event should focus on how women lead, live, and thrive. It might center on identity, purpose, power, rest, or professional clarity. It must have a purpose beyond the event itself.
  2. It is intentionally curated, not random or promotional
A Pop-Up does not need to be polished, but it must be intentional. There should be care in how people are invited, how the space is shaped, and how people feel when they leave.
  3. It centers connection and shared experience
Pop-Ups are designed for interaction. There should be time for conversation, reflection, laughter, or shared insight. This is not a lecture. It is a circle.
  4. It reflects LEAP values of authenticity, generosity, and inclusion
Pop-Ups should be rooted in integrity and care. They should honor diverse identities and perspectives. They should not exclude or tokenize. They should welcome vulnerability and truth.
  5. It invites LEAP members into something you are already attending, hosting, or building in a way that creates shared benefit
You may already be leading a workshop, attending a conference, or building something beautiful. Hosting a LEAP Pop-Up within that space invites other members to connect with you, benefit from what you are building, and build momentum together.

Examples of LEAP Pop-Ups

  • A dinner for women navigating transitions in leadership.
  • A hike with journal prompts and space to reflect.
  • A breakout session at your retreat for LEAP members to connect.
  • A rest circle for women of color balancing caregiving and executive roles
  • A strategy night for nonprofit leaders to collaborate.
  • A book discussion on power, purpose, or healing
  • A prep night before a local action or advocacy event

What Pop-Ups Are Not

  • They are not promotional events for your business or brand.
  • They are not public events that use the LEAP name without approval.
  • They are not closed or exclusionary spaces without a purpose for affinity.
  • They are not performances or presentations with no engagement.
  • They are not opportunities to recruit, pitch, or sell.

Ready to Spark Something Bold?

Hit at least three of our five Pop-Up criteria? Brilliant. Let’s bring that member-led wisdom to the collective.

Give your fellow LEAPers room to clear their calendars. Submit your event as early as you can. We recommend 5+ weeks out.

The Pulse Check: To protect our brave space and hold a strict no-pitch zone, every Pop-Up is reviewed by the Membership Engagement Committee for values and mission alignment.

Once your gathering is greenlit, we’ll maximize your reach across the network:

  • The Website: We’ll feature your event on a dedicated pop-up event page in our member portal.
  • The Inbox: We amplify your circle in one official email push. Either a standalone announcement or a spotlight in a future newsletter.
  • Your Part:  Get the Conversation Going: Post the details in our private LEAP LinkedIn Group and share at your small-group events. It’s where the energy builds before anyone walks in the door.
